In addition Assisted Conception Australia is required by legislation to provide information in a deidentified way to regulatory bodies such as RTAC and ANZARD. This may include data on the outcome of pregnancies conceived with the assistance of Assisted Conception Australia and you may be contacted to provide this information if it is not known to us.
Assisted Conception Australia also undertakes regular internal audits to improve the quality of service provided and staff involved in these activities may inspect your medical data. All these staff are aware of the Privacy Act and requirements to respect confidentiality.
You may be asked to provide consent to partake in a research trial and if you agree your medical details may be provided to the trial investigators but this will be done in a deidentified way.
